Tip #19

Prepare a paper/do a project

This is a combination of Subject Research and Essay production. A report or project is the presentation of research material.

Conduct your research as above. This time as well as having investigated a subject you will have to present your findings so that your teacher can understand them.

No two projects are the same - you will need to see what information you have and then work out the best way to present it. You should be able to find plenty of material in the subject pages: Maths, English Language, English Literature, Science, Geography, History, PSRE

When you have investigated your subject make a series of headings which cover what you want to say about your subject. If you were investigating the effect of pollution on wildlife you might have the following headings:

Introduction - here you write something to say what your project is about and what it covers.

What is pollution - here you might describe what counts as pollution

Pollution in my town - here you describe the pollution in your own town.

How pollution affects wildlife - here you describe how pollution affects wildlife in general

How wildlife in mytown is affected - here you describe in detail how wildlife in your home town is affected.

Now fill in the detail under each heading, add a few relevant pictures and you have a great project - top marks again!
